Yesterday a court ruled that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss cannot sue Facebook for additional money over claims that company founder Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea. Fair ruling for sure, but if the judge were really killin’ it he’d have found a way to make the twins RETURN the original $65 million dollar settlement. Zuckerberg has always said that he’d done nothing wrong and that the Winklevoss claims were completely bogus. If ideas are a dime a dozen, a ni(n)ckel(voss) will get you six great “great” ideas – which, by the way, is as many as you’d need in six lifetimes. If you’re in the business of killin’ it, you take talent and ideas and make them into something tangible for people to benefit from. If you don’t have what it takes to make something out of a good idea, it’s perhaps better you never had it in the first place. I bet if Mark Zuckerberg had never started Facebook, Tyler and Cameron would be blaming someone else for their failed venture. Without the essential go-and-get-it juice, talent and ideas become curses that will be a thorn in your side. If your lamenting the fact that you can’t get anywhere with your tons of good ideas, then by all means lighten your load! Killin’ It!
